Micro Movies

Shudder Films worked in partnership with Northern Film + Media to deliver the Micro Movies scheme.

We were involved at every stage of the process. We shortlisted, commissioned, developed and delivered slates of one minute films and animations.

Each Micro Movie received a budget of £1,000 and, if requested, was actively produced by Shudder Films in collaboration with the applicants.

Take a look at some of the Micro Movies we've made so far!

One was screened at the BFI London Film Festival 09, two were screened at Encounters 09 and three made the Virgin Media Shorts long list of 24 films from 1600 entries!
