'God's Own Country' enters production!

Romantic drama 'God's Own Country' by Francis Lee has entered production in Yorkshire. The film stars newcomers Josh O'Connor and Alec Secareanu alongside Gemma Jones (Sense & Sensibility) and Ian Hart (Boardwalk Empire).
'God's Own Country' is financed by the BFI and Creative England after the project was developed through the iFeatures programme. Met Film Post and Paul Webster's PW Pictures complete the financing. Jack Tarling is producing alongside Manon Ardisson, with Diarmid Scrimshaw and Anna Duffield as exec producers. Cinematographer Joshua James Richards (Songs My Brothers Taught Me) is a Spirit Award nominee and won best cinematography debut at Cameraimages. The film is being edited by Chris Wyatt ('71, This Is England).
