LOST ONES BEGINS ITS FESTIVAL RUN

Our Newest Short, Lost Ones, supported by First Flights, North East Screen & VR Global Media will premiere in the UK this month at BIFA-Qualifying Sunderland Shorts Film Festival 2024. Later this Month, it will also play at BAFTA qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival & KinoFilm Manchester Short Film Festival. With these selections, Lost Ones is now eligible for BAFTA and BIFA selection in 2025/26.

In this supernatural thriller, Carl, a lonely single parent, organises a clandestine meeting with two strangers in the dead of night, in the hope of finding answers to the most unanswerable questions. Directed and Co-written by Andrew McVicar & Written by John Hickman the film stars Brian Lonsdale, Rachel Andrews, Debbie Brannan & Michael Moreland. The film was produced and shot in Newcastle Upon Tyne

BIFA Qualifying Sunderland Shorts Film Festival - Saturday 11th May at the 19:00 Drama Screening at the Royalty Theatre, Sunderland

Kinofilm Manchester European Short Film Festival - Saturday 18th May, at 5:30, at the Mini Cini Ducie Street Warehouse, Manchester.

BAFTA & BIFA Qualifying Carmarthen Bay Film Festival - Thursday 23rd May at 12:50, at the Ffwrnes Theatre, Llanelli
